Rackla Metals Inc. (TSX-V: RAK) is a Vancouver, Canada based junior gold exploration company with projects in the Northwest Territories and the Yukon. The Company was founded by Gold Group Management, led by Simon Ridgway.
Rackla Metals has consolidated an extensive land position in the eastern Tombstone Gold Belt that extends through the southeast Yukon and into the Northwest Territories. The Tombstone Gold Belt hosts gold mineralization in Reduced Intrusive-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS), including several operating mines, a number of development projects and significant new discoveries in Yukon and Alaska. The recent discoveries by Banyan Gold & Snowline Gold Corp are indicative of the potential of RIRGS deposits in this Belt.
An aggressive 2023 exploration program at the Astro Plutonic Complex, composed of the Canol Trail Stock, Kelvin Stock, and Border Pluton led to RIRGS discoveries at both the Canol Trail (HIT discovery) and Kelvin (Peak and Cirque discoveries). A significant 2024 drill program is planned to delineate, establish size and grade of these discoveries. The company is also exploring its other earlier-stage projects with RIRGS characteristics in the Belt to advance them to the drill stage.
